We use only cultivated Goldenseal, so as not to threaten this endangered species in the wild.

Bayberry root bark – Bayberry is one of the best herbal astringents, meaning that it tones and tightens smooth membranes. It works particularly well for treating the skin throughout the alimentary canal (which includes the tissues inside the mouth and the gums) and has a mild antibacterial property.

Myrrh gum – One of the most well used herbal antiseptics, Myrrh has bacteriostatic and astringent qualities that make it ideal for oral health.

Licorice root – Also called “sweet root” and the “universal herb”, Licorice demonstrates an antibacterial and antiviral affect. Licorice also has a mildly demulcent quality and a natural sweetness.

Chinese Skullcap – Baikal Skullcap, high in flavonoids, has shown antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Oral preparations are used to reduce inflammation of the membranes inside the mouth.

Marshmallow root – The tissues of the mouth and gums are covered in a delicate layer of skin. Extracted Marshmallow root soothes this soft skin when inflamed or red and hastens the healing of those tissues. Marshmallow is high in mucilage content, a constituent that protects mucous membranes from irritation.

Prickly Ash bark – Used in Native American medicine, the bark of this tree has been called “toothache bark” and possesses astringent qualities.

Coptis root – An herb high in berberine, Coptis is considered to have similar properties to Goldenseal. It has particular application with ulceration of mucous membranes.

Coenzyme Q10 – Is found in every human and animal body and is an essential component of the mitochondria in cells. It is used as a supplemental therapy for heart and neurological conditions in cats and dogs. It also functions as an antioxidant providing treatment for inflammatory conditions and some cancers.

Vitamin E – Plays a vital role in your pet’s immune system while reducing oxidative stress and helps prevent the destruction by free radicals, of vitamin A.

Antarctic Krill Oil – Rich in Omega -3 lipids and contains a high level of the naturally occurring antioxidant called astaxanthin which aids in ridding the body of harmful free radicals. Astaxanthin’s powerful antioxidant properties have been shown to be 65 times more powerful than vitamin C and 54 times more powerful than beta-carotene.

DOSAGE: Small Under 25lbs – 0.25ml (4.25mg)  |  Medium 25-75lbs – 0.5ml (8.5mg)  |  Large Over 75lbs – 1ml (17mg)

DIRECTIONS: Shake well. Apply desired dose directly onto pet’s gums or add onto treats, food or water. Use 1-2 times daily. For best results, gently apply to your pets gumline until thoroughly coated.
